I really do have a ton of laundry to iron, but it is so beautiful outside. A little shade, a little breeze, and a little drop in the temperatures makes for a perfect fall gardening weather.
There are a few zinnias left, and those that have survived the hot late summer are beautiful.
I was able to tuck some kohlrabi, kale, and Swiss chard starts in the ground and sow a little row of radishes. I also sowed a wide row of ‘White Egg’ turnips. I love them! Maybe we’ll have some in time for Thanksgiving?
I’m working on a Crockpot applesauce post – I canned a batch last night and it turned out so well!
It’s always more fun to be outside, isn’t it? Housework can wait.😊
Yes, it is. This pretty weather is not to be wasted!
My ironing is piling up too! The weather won’t last, but the ironing isn’t going anywhere, so I always opt for taking advantage of the fall weather.
I agree! It was nice to get some seeds in the ground.
